Online Payment Policy
Last updated: 08 August 2026
Welcome to the National Human Rights Security Bureau’s Online Payment Portal. This facility enables members, donors, staff, and other stakeholders to pay for donations, membership fees, certificates, document requests, and related services in a seamless and secure manner. This online payment facility is managed by National Human Rights Security Bureau. These terms may be revised periodically, and any updates shall become effective immediately upon publication. It is the responsibility of the user to carefully review and accept these terms before proceeding with any online payment. The country of domicile for NHRSB is India.
General Instructions
- Upon selecting the Pay or Donate option, you will be redirected to our payment gateway, offering options including UPI, Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
- On successful payment, a confirmation receipt will be generated. In the event of a transaction failure, the system will display the relevant failure reason. In case of delay or no response, please log in using your registered email and retry.
- If an amount is debited but not reflected in your payment status, please check again after logging in. If unresolved, do not immediately attempt a fresh payment — contact us first using the details below to avoid a duplicate charge.
- The information provided during this process is used solely for payment-related processing and handled securely.
Terms and Conditions
Kindly read these conditions carefully before using the online payment facility. Proceeding with an online payment indicates acceptance of these terms.
- All payment amounts are quoted in INR (Indian Rupees) only. National Human Rights Security Bureau reserves the right to modify applicable fees at any time.
- Payments are typically credited to NHRSB’s bank account within two working days.
- No liability is accepted for payments failing due to incorrect account information or card details provided by the user.
- If a card issuer declines a payment, National Human Rights Security Bureau is not obligated to independently inform the user. It remains the responsibility of the user to ensure sufficient funds and verify payment status.
- In the case of unsuccessful transactions, payments can be retried. If an amount is debited without a status update, this must be reviewed by logging in and, if needed, reported to us directly.
Refunds and Duplicate Payments
Refund eligibility, timelines, and processing rules are governed by our Refund Policy, which applies uniformly across donations, membership fees, and service/certificate payments.
If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same payment due to a technical error, network issue, or unintentional resubmission, please contact the Office of Accounts at support@nhrsb.org with valid transaction proof or a bank statement for verification. Duplicate payment claims are handled strictly in accordance with the Duplicate Payments clause of our Refund Policy.
For all other refund policy questions not related to a specific transaction issue such as general cancellation or membership fee refund tier queries, please contact mail@nhrsb.org
Security
Your payment information is protected by the same standard of security used by major banks and financial institutions. Every transaction on this platform runs through a fully encrypted connection, so your details are never exposed while in transit. Our payment partner, Razorpay, secures every transaction with TLS encryption and an Extended Validation (EV) SSL certificate — the highest level of website verification available, visible as the padlock in your browser. All data you submit is scrambled using 128-bit AES encryption, the same encryption standard trusted by banks worldwide, making it effectively unreadable to anyone except the intended systems. Your personal information receives an additional layer of protection through field-level encryption, and the entire process is governed by ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 2 — two of the most rigorous, independently audited security certifications in the industry, held by our payment gateway partner.
We take every reasonable step to keep your data secure through our trusted payment gateway partner. That said, security is a shared responsibility — we’re not able to accept liability for a data breach that results from a user’s own failure to keep their personal or transaction details confidential, whether during or after the payment process. Protecting your login details, OTPs, and card information on your end is just as important as the safeguards we maintain on ours.
Service Provider
Some of the online payments are handled by our authorized payment gateway partner rather than being collected directly by National Human Rights Security Bureau. Once your payment clears, it is confirmed to us by the service provider, and you’ll receive an acknowledgment accordingly. If you haven’t received this confirmation within 14 days of making a payment, please reach out to us so we can verify the status on our end. Until that confirmation is received, responsibility for any pending dues remains with the user.
Changes to This Policy
National Human Rights Security Bureau reserves the right to amend this Online Payment Policy at any time, with changes effective immediately upon posting. T
